I have a pigeon blood pair. They lay eggs every 7 days. They have had around 10 spawns so I understand they are still new to this. They initially were eating all of the eggs on day 2. They have had wigglers twice that never quite made it to free swimming. I purchased the mesh gutter guard to make the screen which I have been using for the past few spawns. This last spawn eggs were laid so I put the screen over the cone as normal. The next day all but a few eggs were gone. I checked to make sure there was enough roombetween the screen and eggs that the parents couldn't get to them. Somehow they were still able to get to them. Any thoughts on how to prevent this?
