Hello,
i had 2 pairs that used to provide me a lot of baby fish
but according to advise they were not good pairs (i have a lot of paper fish)
so i decided to changes males (so i have them right)
since i did this they both stopped laying eggs (for the last 3 months)
also i see females still fight with the new males
each pair is in a separate aquarium and they dont see each other
should i keep try or i should move them back to the original pairs

I move males around all the time. It has never been an problem for me. Remember discus females can go off cycle for several months at a time. They are not non-stop layers.

waelaase, leaving the tank dirty for few days and doing a large wc with 2-4 degrees colder than now trigger them sometimes.

Give them settling time for the pairs though.. Good luck..
