Can I use the waste water from an ro setup?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if I could use the waste water from an ro setup. I use the ro for my reef tank and thought I could save the waste water and mix it in to regular tap for my fish. I do use the waste water now for my garden and grass but they only need so much. Any thoughts on this?

John has done this for many years. Breeders RO, regular stock waste water.

Like was said above I have don it for probably 20 years without problems. You water may vary but I would at least try it if I were you.

It depends on the parameters of your water. Too high a kH and ammonia gets to toxic fast in a heavily fed fry grow out tank. I can use it, but my kH is only 4.5 out of the tap.

They can be used for the garden and don't seem they have much other uses besides that
