I have 6 discus 4 of them are fine two of them seem to be always gasping for air and they don't come out to feed like the other ones do they just hang in the corner. They aren't loosing weight and there not really dark but they don't seem as vibrant either they seem really light. One day I saw stringy white feces with black spots in it but I don't know who it came out of and it only happened one day. The one fish is really breathing heavy and flairing him gills a lot. I suspect gill fluke for that. And another thing I notice is that all of my fish look fat like bloated. Its a 55gallon tank and the ph is 7 and no nitrates or nitrites and the water is very soft I did alot of research and I turned up the heat to about 86 because that's all the higher my heater will go. What else can I do or should I be concerned at all

What is your ammonia at? How often you changing the water? What other fish if any are in there? Fill out the disease questionnaire and give more info. That will help everyone help you.

Do you have any oxygen flow in the tank? Mine had problems until I added a bubbler. Was your tank established before you added the discus or are you still cycling? You really need to fill out the questionnaire for this tank. That will help and give everyone an idea of what you've got

First turn you heat down to 82, Second start changing a lot more water. There is no way to know exactly what is going on from the info provided but the advice given will help in almost all cases.

And I read here and other places that increasing the temp will kill parasites

This is the questionnaire. Increasing the temp only works if you're sure of parasites at this point you don't know what the problem is and if it's bacterial you're going to increase the problem not help it. Discus do best at 82 or 83.
