I have a diamond shaped corner tank, but the fella who gave it to me doesn't know how many gallons it is. I can't find anything on Google on how to measure this particular shape. And my math skills, well, they suck. Lol.

The 2 main sides are 22 inches long and the 3 accent sides are 13 inches each. The height is 25 inches high.

If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. I need to figure out what size filter(s) to get and etc. Thanks is advance!!

about 30 gallons depending on water depth - you don't fill a 25 inch high tank with 25 inches of water, more likely 23.5" to 24"

here is a link you can use - http://www.calculatorsoup.com/calculators/construction/tank.php

EDIT: ohhh - I just noticed, thanks to Skips post, the tank has 3 - 13" sides. yikes

Here is a guy that had the same problem. They came up with about 44 gallons - http://www.fishlore.com/fishforum/freshwater-beginners/118710-calculate-volume-5-sided-aquarium.html

Calculate the volume of a 5 sided aquarium
I haven't had fish for many years, but finally have the time to get back into it. I've missed the joys of watching a world that fascinates me, & am soo happy. My problem lies in figuring out the size of the tank I got, so I can determine filter, plants, fish, etc. It is a 5 sided corner unit, but I haven't been able to find one the same shape to determine how to calculate, & I'm afraid my math is rusty. The tanks 2 corner sides are 22", each of the three front panels are 13", and depth is 24". These are inside measurements. I've only ever had standard rectangular tanks before & am completely lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated

i got about 46 gallons..

22" = 1.833 ft..

13" = 1.08 ft.

two 1.833 ft sides at 90 degrees.. would allow two sides perpendicular from ends of 22" sides.. and from the 1.08' at 45 degree bend closes the 5 sides..

base area is about 3.08 square feet.. times.. 2 feet (25").. equals 6.16 cubic feet.. converts to 46 gallons..

i used AUTOCAD to find AREA :)

who said you would not need Geometry in the future :)

I used old school estimation as in this case the amount of gallons is not a real issue.
22L x 22W x 25H = 52.38 gallons
12L x 12W x 25H = 15.58 gallons divided by 2 = 7.79 gallons
52.39 gallons minus 7.79 gallons
44.60 gallons

Does this make any sense but sounds good to me. I may only get half marks from Skip. LOL
