After trying for what it seems an eternity they finally did it. My first success. Two tiny babies. I think I never had to work so hard to breed anything, and trust me I did my share of breeding.
I have to thank this site for its wealth of information and knowledge that I gain from it.....

btw I know your excitement as I'm at the point of trying too be successful I'm at the stage where I have about 70-100 at day 5-6 just becoming free swimming btw I wish you luck but if it was me abd they were less than 7-10 day's I'd let them get eaten and let the discus have another try at it as it's so much work raiseing them I'd dread doing it for just 2

They are only 2 days old. I never saw such good parents. Dad is very protective, he thinks that mam will it the yang, but she is just as good with them. I am not doing anything special to save the fry. I just continue my routine. W/C 50% every day. using 100% RO with RO right. Still hoping for a large spawn.

To be honest two is not worth saving. The parents will eventually eat the fry once the female is ready to breed again. I'm happy for you that at least your pair is now confirm. Good luck.
