i know it may seem like a silly question,but is discus spawning a sign of good water quality

What are u calling spawning? Free swimmers.. wigglers .. or jus laying eggs

I think it's almost impossible to keep them from laying eggs. I can't say if they would quit laying if your water was left to go bad and I don't want to find out. Out of my dozen I have egg laying going on about every third or fourth day.
