Hi Folks, any suggestions on how to hang driftwood from the top of the tank to get the effect of roots/branches coming down from the surface (rather than just laying the driftwood on the bottom)? Thanks.

Not sure how is you set up but people use fishing line or silicone.

Place rods crosswise across the top with the driftwood attached to them. Easy to move for cleaning/rescape and won't get in the way of your taking the lid off for feeding.

For my tank just drilled small hole in top of wood and attached to tank cross braces with fishing line

I tied multifilament fishing line to the driftwood and got the line over the rim of the tank and tied it to a screw inserted in the back of the wooden cabinet

There is a video of a guy on YouTube that screws silicone suction caps onto drift wood so they can be stuck to the back of the tank, could work for sticking it to the top aswell.

I put screw eyes in the bottom of some driftwood and used cable ties to attach it to a dowel placed on top of my tank. It's easy to move, place and adjust it the way you want it.
