Good evening. I have a pair of blue turquoise Discus. They have laid eggs for months, every four to five days but never hatched. Today, for my big surprise, the eggs did hatched!!! My question is ( or should I say are): what to do with all the other fish on the tank? Neon Tetras, small plekos? Should I remove them? Should I cover the filters inlet with cotton? Any advise will be highly appreciated!!!

what is your goal? Do you want to raise fry?

You should definitely put a sponge on the intake and if you want to keep the babies you should get the other fish out of the tank

Personally I would leave the pair to spawn in the community setting until they get to the wiggler stage consistently and then move them to their own breeding tank if you indeed want to raise discus fry.
