I know these tanks are totally style over substance, impractical with crap filtration, but wondered if the temporary nature of their use as a quarantine tank would make them suitable for a six-week stay by three discus? I was going to stick a 100 or 200-litre sponge filter in there to aid filtration, and a beefed-up heater too during the quarantine period.
Unfortunately, I don't have room for anything much bigger in my flat, so the alternative would be to put them straight in the main tank and hope for the best. Surely the BiOrb is a better option than that?
Think the 105 works out at 23 UK gallons, 28 US, so not ideal but not too cramped either.
