What is the best all around food for growing out juveniles. I really don't want to feed them store bought beef heart and don't have the time to make my own.

Clean water and low bacterial load. After that, food relatively high in protein also helps, protein % listed on the package. Tetra Bits are readily accepted (47.5% protein), Discus Bio-Gold (50%) though a little expensive.

While I agree that frequent WC are b est for growth. What types/brands of foods are better than others? I'm new to Discus and would like to know your opinion.

What is the best method to get 3 cm discuss to 8 cm as fast as possible?

I have 100 gallons Tanks

1.Does it depend more on the number of times a day they are fed?
2.Or is the number of water changes they receive a day the most important?
3.Or does it depend on the content and quality of the food?
4.Or the number of fish in the tank and it's size?

Why is this important to you? Your concern should be that they grow to full potential, not how fast you can get them there. I am not sure what your trying to accomplish is even good for the fish.

The answer to your question would be 5-all the above. Be aware that power feeding also requires power water changing, the part most people screw up. It's easy to walk by a tank several times a day and toss food in, but eventually they all start to cheat on the water changes............
