So i came home to this. 2 of my white butterfly's and my pigeon. At first the 2 butterfly's paired off no luck and now I guess the female whitey went ahead and cheated on the other with the pigeon. They have been in quarantine for about 2 1/2 weeks now. The 2 males has been fighting luke crazy but no real damage yet. What do u guys think I should do. Move the 1 white butterfly to the main tank for now and leave the couples be or move the pigeon and have a matching pair. I didn't think this would happen and I also though they were all females.

If it gets bad consider adding a divider. I would rather you not break quarantine.

Thanks I'm keeping any eye one them or have been. I swear these 3 are females no possible signs of male at all between the 2 that's fighting. Urg...I'll watch what's going on worse case I'll divide the single one. Word thing is that the 2 that r fighting they r fighting over taking car of the eggs.

at what point do you drop the hero fish in? Maybe you can do that sooner and it may help refocus some of the aggression for a short time (until you can finish the qt).

I could possibly do that but at this point I may just put in a divider. I think the other white butterfly may have taken over now. . But we'll see

Woke up to the other wb taking over and the pigeon losing I guess. I doubt the eggs are fertile. So far they haven't eaten them so I know I have a good mother.
