Saw a bunch of eggs and these two were swimming around them. There were six of them in the tank, I now separated these two. Hope I picked the right ones. :) Lets see how they react to the cones. Do they even look like a male and female?

What is the rush, let them practice few times before taking them apart. Yo don't even know if those are the right ones. Wait at least to get wigglers so you can confirm they are a proven pair.

Are they doin' the Discus Mating Dance? How do you post the larger images, I can only post smaller thumbnails.

No dancing yet.:D prolly still stressed from being moved.

I upload pics on photobucket then copy paste the direct link using that image icon above ( framed tree icon, if im seeing it right). Thats how I got the pics to show up.

Thanks and good luck! Looks like a good setup.

I have what looks like a nice pair, a big Red Turq. male that I bred from another spawn and a Wild Blue/Green female in a similar setup that I thought was perfect, but nothing happened. Even though they seemed to pair up in the main tank. So I moved both of them back to the main tank with all the other Discus and some Altums, and of course they went for it within a day or two.

Now I have to move them back to the spawning tank and see if it works again. Unfortunately it's occupied by another pair that also has some promise and have laid eggs and fertilized once.
