new discus!

hi all. this is my new discus. quite big at around 7 inches. im guessing its some sort of PB. has heavy peppering but still think its a good looking and healthy fish. wasn't planning on adding another to my tank, but an elderly bloke had bought it to my local fish store as he was changing to a marine tank and had nowhere to put it. so for a very cheap price ive rehomed him along with my 2 other 5' PB's and plecos. all is going well so far :) cant wait to get a larger tank some time soon, so I can take my fish keeping to the next level! :)

That's a very heavy pepper discus. It also doesn't look 7"... more like 5" you might want to measure it before proclaiming it's size. It might actually surprise you... Our eye measurement always higher that it really is. If you like it that's all that matters...

as I said, it is peppered and this is not very desirable for discus keepers. where im from, its not very easy to come across a discus in a local store, especially a fully grown one. I like him, hes healthy and that's a joy to see.
