How long to wait?

How long should I wait after my evening feeding to do a 50% water change and how long should I leave the pump off (reef tank) when I feed?

On a reef tank Judi, I would wait about 30 minutes or so after feeding to do a water change. Same amount of time on leaving the pump off too.

I do 50% on my reef every two weeks. But I do my water changes mid afternoon (usually on Sundays).

Jeff, thanks..I oopsed though, meant to say "reef ready" style tank (filled with discus) :D. Although the thought of water changes every two weeks could convert me lol
