9. Any new fish, plants or inverts added recently.
I got two new discus 4 weeks ago. I got them in a quarantine tank. They were in there for a week and I added another discus. They were all doing good until a few days ago I noticed the redness starting to show. The discus that I added was in a discus only tank and was in there for 6 months. Him and the other discus in the tank are doing fine.

10. Include any pictures or videos you have which shows the symptoms. If you can't add them to this post, please provide a link to them.

This is one of the new fish, in which you have had for four weeks correct?

Then you added a test fish from your current stock (three weeks ago), that fish is doing fine?

Hard to tell from the pics, is the redness underneath the skin and showing through?

If so I might opt to treat with kanamycin.

How big was the discus that you added from your existing stock? Any signs of bullying the younger fish?

Just so you know, the fish you want to treat has a gill plate defect, and the kanamycin is not cheap. It might be better to cull the fish and simply buy a new one, but that's up to you.
