Try not to feed the albino platinum with red enhancer foods otherwise will turn yellowish like mine.

Albino Platinum and Albino Blue Diamond are basically one and the same. Platinum sounds better so more $ for the breeder.

I'm pretty sure that albino platinum's are a higher quality fish then albino blue diamonds but of the same strain.

What about regular platinum blue? Are they just regular blue diamond or an intermediate of albino blue diamond?

Now that's what I a nice albino! Very nice fish, hits all the high notes for proportion, size, finnage, etc.

They look like an albino blue diamond to me......

My guess is it is just a way to separate the buyer from his money.

im pleased with the fish anyway so who cares lol. this fish was purchased from a very reputable dealer who competes in many European discus championships. so im inclined to belive him on what strain it is...

I agree the fish is great . i just asked the question because i seen 2 of them next to the blues at a local breeder and i couldnt tell the diffrence .. But you fish is 5******

Here are a couple of albino platinums I recently purchased, they are whiter then albino blue diamonds. Sorry it's not a good photo, this was taken with my phone the same day the fish arrived.
