We really like to use FedEx as we are given a discount and we share that discount with you guys. The Discus will be delivered to your door before 10:30 A.M. to most places in the U.S. We will ship Airport to Airport via American Airlines or Delta Cargo but we have found that the cheaper way is FedEx overnight Priority.
For immediate shipping quotes please use our cart on our website as a reference.

All our Discus are Guaranteed Live Arrival and we will maintain communication with you and FedEx throughout the whole process. You will be given a tracking number so you can follow the Discus on their journey to your location.

The best way to communicate with Chicago Discus is Via Email at chicagodiscus@att.net. We have a business line 312-622-0055. If there is no answer on the business line it usually means that we are in the Hatchery working with the Discus. Please leave a message on the Line and we will get back to as soon as possible.

Those Heckel crosses could be the best looking crosses I have seen. I hope you continue to stock these because I WILL eventually get one of those.

ugh....so freaking beautiful. particularly for me, the white albino's (were those handpicked? so milky white, really stunning ) AND for me a first the high finned tiger snakeskin, ive never seen those before, they look AMAZING !!!! not fair, not fair at all ;)

WOW.. the heckels are out of this world !

Thank you when I saw them in Maylasia they took my breath away. I agree I have seen many Heckel crosses but not this nice

Wow. First time I see the Halfmoon Blue Diamond Discus, looks amazing.

I was so skeptical about this strain because of all the nonsense people stated on the way they were created but after being in maylasia and seeing the parents first hand I fell in love with them


Picked a spotted eruption today. They look gorgeous.

Everybody's pics look great! Finally had time to comment on the 2 PEARL RAFFS I got on thurs. last week. While everyone was drooling over the heckles (I wanted 2 of those as well!) I snuck in the back door and had MIRANDA pick me out 2 gorgeous pearl raffs! The shape is perfect, the color is electric! and white highlights add unbelievable character! thanx for putting up with me MIRANDA (I had some very specific criteria and you filled my order to a "T") You picked out some great fish in China JOSIE! Special thanx to BOB from jersey who put me on to the girls from the "WINDY CITY", I will def. be a repeat customer! Oh yea forgot to mention that the fish looked great right out of the bag and probably would have eaten that day! I followed the acclimation instructions and they flew onto freeze dried blackworms with spinach like missles the next morning! Hope to post some pics soon. thanx again girls, great job! WALT

I purchased a 6" Heckel Cross from Chicago Discus last week and couldn't be happier. It was my first experience ordering from them and would definitely order from there again. The discus arrived in excellent condition and is absoluetly beautiful. Size, color, pattern, all perfect ! What you see on their website video is certainly what you get.
The service was also great. Miranda was very professional and returned all my e-mails promptly.
