Urgent: Thoughts on Male Blue Diamond prior to purchase?

Hey guys I'm looking to purchase a male for my female blue diamond, I'm getting the following confirmed male for what can be considered a good deal locally.

I am just asking your opinion and critique on the fish before I purchase, all comments are welcome. And I will be quarantining him of course.

Seems like a fair quality Discus but hate the tank condition.

Not a bad looking BD. I prefer my BD's to have really bold red eyes, which this one does not appear to have. Other than that, shape looks good and color is great.

It's a nice fish with all the right characteristics and proportions. Looks very healthy.

If this is a confirmed male to go with your female, I'd go for it!

Funny, if I had guessed I would have said that fish was female. That's why I don't identify fish sexes until I see them in action. ;)

:bandana: I guess the term "GOOD DEAL" can be considered subjective. Bottom line is if YOU like him & feel he's worth the chips, go for it. There will always be better but there will always be worse. This ones not bad. "T"
