Currently I have a 55 gallon tank with 5 discus in it. Other fish I have are about 12 neon tetras, 3 phantom tetras, one skirt tetra, and one ram. I would LIKE to add a few more neon tetras and a german blue ram or 2, but I dont want to overstock. Would this be too much? So far everything is fine between fish in the tank. There is no bullying in the tank, and the discus dont seem to have a problem, they eat very enthusiastically right along side the other fish at feeding time. opinions?

If your 55 gal community tank is aqua-scaped with plants, substrate & décor, which I suspect it is, then imo you would be pushing the space and bio-load limitations too much for comfort and balance by adding more fish. I wouldn't think of doing it, but it's up to you in the end.
