Hey guys, I am going to be setting up a 220 gallon tank but I don't know if the bottom of the factory built stand will hold the weight of my sump. The sump is 45x12x18tall. I bought the tank and stand from someone on craigslist. The person added about 7 inches to the bottom of the stand using 2x6s. I am told that there is no extra bracing for the bottom of the stand. So I'm guessing that the actual bottom of the original stand is technically 7 inches above the floor. My question is; would the sump fall through since their isn't support underneath? Or would I have to put a few braces?
