Anybody else a craigslist Junkie?

Have to confess...I am a craigslist Junkie. I have scored so many cool things there for free or cheap. I've sold alot of things on it too. Just a great place for a diy-er to pick up project materials.

Any one else a regular on craigslist?

I have scored most of my tanks from craiglist including my 240. But my hubby has populated his barn workshop with mostly craiglist steals.

I have to watch how much time I spend there, er how much money.... LOL;)
I have picked up some great tools there including the lathe that I use for pens and a much larger lathe that I have yet to put to work (maybe to turn some bowls), plus other goodies.

Guilty as charged in the past, but I found that sellers seem to want to get top dollar for used items LOL. Now I just go to my local forum and check there.

Ive done well with the free stuff,my whole fish room started with a free sink off of craigs.Hose for my wifes garden,and re-placed the slide on my kids playset,all for free.Most of my big tanks Ive gotten off there also.

Ive built my second chicken coop mostly from craiglist sourced freebies...recently picked up a treadmill which I stripped down for its motor,by far the best so far was a commercial grade coleman vertex 7500 watt vertical generator for $125 dollars! .. Ive scored others as well...but this is a gem.

40 gallon power vented gas hot water heater I use to preheat my water change water.....50 bucks....only a few months old.....owner thought it made too much noise.

Words cannot express my love of craigslist. I use it to rent out rooms, to sell things, and to buy things as well as to amuse myself when I am bored at work by reading the personals sections. :D
