Dark Angel male and Snakeskin Pigeonblood female spawned. I decided to let them go through with it to gain experience raising fry/hatching brine etc..
No idea what they will look like, but so far they look like little versions of the Mom.

First week

This was about 18 days old, right before I removed the Dad. I had to remove the Mom a couple days before because they started to squabble

I'll post some more pics/videos in a couple weeks when they are bigger.

Ok, today I took this video as they are exactly 5 weeks old. They are eating a batch of baby brine shrimp. They are also eating beefheart, cobalt flakes and Al's blackworms with spinach. I'll probably stop doing the bbs soon, it's just fun to see them go after them. 15 minutes after this video, the shrimp were gone. I took a still picture last week and tried to count them, I think I have about 70 fish. They are starting to look very interesting. Most folks told me they would be peppered and a bad combination, but they look clean to me. Look like little versions of the mom, a SS Pigeon Blood. I will post updates every week to track their development. Comments are appreciated!
