I am setting up my 90 gallon with a large piece of Malaysian Driftwood in the center and 2 large artificial rocks (By Universal Rocks) one on each side. Honestly it looks awesome however what about the water that is underneath each rock (since these things are concave)? Should I worry about it stagnating? Not sure it's worth worrying about but once I saw these rocks I became concerned.

Thanks,

Mike

If you are concerned just move the rocks when you vaccuum the sand. I'm not sure I would worry about it.

I have a large stump from Universal Rocks that is hollow inside. I pick it up every water change and turn it on it's side to release water and poop. The poop and any excess food is directly underneath of the stump and then I just vacuum it up. If you need a pic I'll post it. I don't think it's going to be a problem. Rufus

In my wife's tank I have one of their stumps. I have never bothered to move it and have never had an issue. They make great products.
