So I've notice a few free swimming worm type possible parasites in my aquarium. The largest had been 3 to 4 millimeters and white or translucent. Anyone have any idea? I have not noticed any attached to the discus, and there poop seems normal. Its bare bottom that is wiped and cleaned regularly. Temp is 82.5F. Nitrates 0 nitrite 0 ammonia 0 ph 7.7.

A picture would probally help someone identify what it may be or if it's a problem.

Could be Planaria.

Planaria would be gliding on surfaces not free swimming ..a common worm that free swims similar to a snake is harmless..often called thread worms or stylaria..

Probably what you are seeing.

@navydiscus what color are they? Have you introduced some plants or new fish in the tank?

A lot of times we do have some hitchhikers on the plants and most of times if white slim and long it could be some sort of ditritus worms which are harmless.
Picture would be helpful

No plants... bare bottom. Discus are fine. Couldn't get a clear shot of these little guys. Haven't seen them for a little while. They're a white to translucent color, free swimming, you can actually watch them wiggle snake/worm like.
