Very stressed discus

I everyall,

Around 6 weeks ago I had a power failure during all the weekend; my fished survived with bottles of hot water and battery air bombs.

After that they become shyer; before they eat from my hand and today when I'm near to the tank they are hidden in the driftwood. All the time they're stressed; they eat, but not as in the past... I thought after some days the would recover the normal behaviour, but no.

I not used any medication; I only added aloe and added Seachem Garlic Guard to the food.

Can you give an advise?

How much water are you changing a day? You may have lost your biological filter.

Have you checked the ammonia and nitrite levels. Are you performing regular water changes?

Given hiding spaces like driftwood, Discus will use them much of the time. Discus can be shy and nervous so you may want to remove these, at least temporarily until they improve.
