Ok guys and gals I need some advise. I have one small discus (out of 11) that I have put in a hospital tank because he hides near the heater and isn't eating. This has been going on for weeks. I have slowly started upping the temp to hopefully get him to start eating. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Have you tried enticing it with different foods? I've found that mine can't resist frozen bloodworms. Some small discus will go after brine shrimp.

Have you noticed any white, stringy feces?

I've tried everything, black worms, blood worms, shrimp, pellets and flakes with no luck. No the poop, what little of it there is, is dark and not stringy.

Have you tried live foods? If he is small enough most fish will eat freshly hatched brine shrimp or live bloodworms. hopefully once you entice him to eat a couple of times his appetite will return.

It seems slowly upping the temp to 88 worked. My little one is eating and looking for more. Any suggestions on temp when I'm ready to move him back the big tank?
