I am new to the discus hobby but I believe oscars are extremely aggressive.

As far as I know Oscars don't do well with much but other Oscars.

oh pretty good. been looking for a place to settle in and I think I have it now. I've been hanging onto some angels, I have a pair in a breeder now hoping to get some fry going. thinking about some discus again. my well water is pretty good here.

sorry to the others, just having some fun. been gone for awhile just seeing who's still around;)

LOL...Well I started not to post anything but decided too. I was not sure if you were going to let it keep going or not. Angels are ok. I do have one breeding pair of koi but as you know they just don't compare to discus. It is time to get back in.

Oscars and regular tropical cichlids. To aggressive with other fish my volcano Oscar used to eat all my fish :(

You could start the babies in the 30L but an upgrade is a must.

yeah I see your in the same boat. i'm just happy I ended up in a region with great well water. I don't plan to get a full hatchery going again but definely would like to work with a few pairs.

Thats a lot of mouths to feed john. What strains do you have?

Current fry cobalts, brilliants, some of Chad's (Sabers1) PB's, and some F2 heckle X Penang eruptions.

I seen Chicago discus have some awesome eruptions I like. looking for some nice reds, san mereh or something like that, preferably without the different colored face. I had an old pair I really liked. they spawned just before I got out but I had big time problems at that time with hex.

trying to nail down a few strains to play with, something I can easily sell fry from when I get a prolific pair.
