I am building a 150 gal discus tank it will have a 30 gal sump. My question is what should I do with the 1st chamber the water flows into the side of chamber 1 when its full it goes over to where my mechanical and bio filter will be. I'll be using multiple stage filters and Bio-Home in the 2nd chamber. The 3rd will be used for heaters, probes, etc. then there will be another filter before water flows to pump.

What should I do in the 1st chamber I fell it will be nothing but a trash holder.
Thanks in advance

You can put filter socks or filter pads to catch those wastes. Filter stock is better cause its easy to maintain.

Sock and then a bubble trap.
