Seeing tiny skinny white worms in my tank! What should I do. I have two discus its bare bottom no plants with sponge filters. Fish is eating well no sign of sickness?

Sounds like over feeding issues like leftover food. Do you wipe tank sides and squeeze sponges out

Overfeedings. I squeeze sponges week ago and wpe tanks sides. Now how do I get rid of worms?
1. Don't feed for 3 days?
2. Massive water change and re-squeeze sponges wipe sides?
3. Get Discus tankmate that can eat worms? Cardinal tetras?

If these white worms are harmless would they just become food for Discus?
