Very nice photos and Discus. Don't worry about any spelling mistakes we can figure it out. Can you tell us how you grew such beautiful Discus, things like water change schedule, food, tank sizes, any health issues.

Good Luck, Rick

Beautiful. That takes some dedication and know-how. I love the straight lined ones. Is that something you would like to improve with this project, or do you have another goal in mind?

My 2 cents? They look great already, but, if you do not have a long term goal set already, maybe try to breed an eye that is more uniformly red. That is the only thing that stands out to me that would improve this breeding project.

Thanks for sharing such great pictures.

Good Luck, Rick

Hi Rick! Until the age of 4-5 months, i've changed the water twice a day 50%, so 100% total, after that age until today i am changing, just once a day 50%, after the last meal of the day (The tank stays so, clean over the night).
I feed them 4-5 times a day with, 2 meals of beefheart mixture (I make it myself, and I add 25% spinach) , 2 meals of tetra discus granules, and one with frozen artemia shimps. I am doing this for a long time. Until the age of 3-4 months, i've also gaved them a meal of grindal worms.
The tank size is 200 litres, and I didn't had any real health issues.

Hi!
Now I have a biotope project going, and i think that, this is the point where I'll be changing the fishes.
I'll keep just few of those above, for the show tank at the office, ant I plan to trade the others for some curipera, or something more naturally looking fries.
The eye color was a problem for me to, but I now consider that, it would take at least 2-3 generations to solve it.
For the moment i'am satisfied with what I achieved, and I'll swich my atention on other strains.
Also thank all of you, for the apreciations!
