Hi All -
I spoke with Al through PM and suggested a link of the day post on both the FB page and Group. The purpose is to educate, engage, and hopefully as a side benefit, drive traffic to the SD forum. In order for the FB presence to be successful content is key. People will visit once and if there is nothing of interest they will move on and stop following. However, if we keep the FB presence populated with good content, we should be able to grow the group and help to drive more discus keepers to the Simply Discus Forum. This will benefit everyone here.
Al agreed this was a good idea so I am moving forward with execution... and this is where I could use your help.
Please post links to your suggested "Link of the Day" in this thread. I can't guarantee all will make it to the FB Page/Group but I will do my best.
The criteria for a Link of the Day post is pretty wide open but, here are some suggestions of things to consider and things to avoid .
Things to consider-
Threads where you learned something new
Threads that generated lively, respectable debate with a positive outcome
Threads that made you go WOW
Things to avoid-
Any thread that has devolved into a lengthy circular debate with no positive outcome.
Any thread that contains personal attacks (these are few and far between but do exist)
I will review all suggestions before linking it to our FB page/group
Thanks for your input!!!
Best Regards,
Greg
