They are Pleco Caves. We keep plecos with most of our discus as companions and to keep the tanks cycled when the tanks are empty. Our favorite plecos are Green Phantoms. We had two Green Phantoms in with the Rafflesia, and the "shin bones" are actually the ceramic Pleco caves where they live. If you look at the first few frames of the video, you can see the tail of one of the plecos in his cave... Miranda

If you look in this frame you can see the juvi discus that decided he wanted to be a pleco when he grows up!! Haha!
