Hello all, I have been doing a lot of research lately on nitrate reduction and have settled on purchasing a fluidized bed reactor and npx bio-plastics. Supposedly the bio-plastics create bacteria that eats both phosphorus and nitrates that can bring the levels down to 0 or damn near. This fluidized bed has been around for awhile and mainly used for saltwater, but everything I am reading tells me that applies to freshwater also. With all the posts of people talking on how to get their nitrates down to 0, I'm surprised that nobody has tried this; and if there is somebody out there that uses it, please let me know.
