Hi all, I would like to know what you feed your breeding pairs when they have fry or prior to laying eggs, was concern in keeping the water in optimal condition. Thanks

You should be doing enough WCs that your water conditions are optimal no matter what you feed them. I feed heart mix mostly, with a little FDBW's and red wigglers tossed in for good measure. Fry eventually will pick at the heart, which is a good transition food from BBS.

Depends on the pair. I just try to feed what they will eat. Most of my pairs have always eaten well when they had fry but I have had a few that ate very little.

When I move one pair they took about 5 days than back to normal eating,
