I am putting it in a good tank, I got few tanks all discus, and I have pond balls and was just how long it would take to seed it.

That's about how long it would take if your were seeding with pure ammonia. Don't quote me as I haven't cycled a tank that way. I will though as soon as I get my supplies together.

I hope they speed the process up for you. I might try the pure pondballs myself. Would you say they work better than tetra safestart?

Not the answer your looking for but I try and keep extra sponge filters going in tanks just for this reason. No waiting...

I do the same is just I tossed everything away and started form scratch on my breeders, I put a pair with pure pond balls and a 3 day sponge filter and some old water yesterday will need to monitor it.
