Dominant/co dominant strain?

So I been wondering about discus breeding. Which strains are more dominant than others? I know that pigeon strain Have stronger genes vs others.. Any ideas? Do I make sense ?

Its more of a case of what traits you are you interested in? Some things we know some we dont.Its not that pigeons are stronger than non pigeons but they have genes for things like pepper that do seem to express themselves dominantly over corresponding genes that dont code for pepper.
