Hi,

What tool(s) would you recommend to clean the inner side of the glass of a high tank? Tank is going to be 31" high.

I don't really like using Mag-Floats.

thanks

You can buy them with longer handles also.

I use a long Kent brand algae cleaner wand, take out the algae scraper blade, and wrap several sheets of a high quality paper towel around it and clean my glass in my 110g high tank. Keep a small bucket or tupperware handy and it is quick and leaves no mess. I have better luck reducing scratches this way too in my experience. It works for bare bottom tanks too.

I have a 150 that's 30" deep and I use a Hammerhead Floating magnetic cleaner. I have both this and the long handled Kent. I prefer the magnetic using the long handled only for the bottom. If you want to try a magnetic one be sure to spend the money and get a good quality one from a Reef supply business.
