Whats comical is they forget that you can hear everything said....even through that glasswall. Its been entertaining to say the least.

I bet you"re right that they forget you can hear. At least there is an entertainment factor while you wait,

That was painful in more ways than one... but they got the job done.. I spoke with the manager at length, the 4 guy was their ace... they actually called him in from a day off for help... Felt bad for the guy.

Jobs done though... what a mess.

Today would be one of those day, need to take the Cataletic converters off to install sparks plus on a 2009 Porsche 997, than I go home and relax with my discus. I new the job was not easy when I took it, lol

Err umm......that's a brake drum not a rotor Rick, you can call it a doohicky for all I care unless they charge me less. Alls I know is the passenger side rear cylinder blew and the drivers side rear break pads shattered and expanded to the point where they could not get the .."err um ":) drum off..

Either way it was 3 plus hours and cost me $600 ..I can only imagine if I had changed them myself though..mans gotta know his limitations..

D@@mit Jim ,Im a doctor (of discus),not a mechanic!:)

my dad actually had made a puller up for brake drums, they are notorious for being a pita. not sure I would ever have anyone watching me cuss out a vehicle, lol. disc brakes are so nice, way easy compared to drum.

myself, i'm moving back in time, just picked up a 47 ford 8n

Trekkie?
Sadly, it was something I never watched. Not that I didn't want to, just never did. However, I watched (& bought) the more recent movies and found them so interesting. It is one of those things where I feel I missed the bus kind of thing. I love big bang theory and when the reference it, it makes me wish I knew :-(

I am glad I don't work on domestic cars. German cars are so much better and easier to me. Italians are nice but sadly the plastic is cheap on even the most high end ferraris. But I have yelled at a few cars lol and all cars need a sledge hammer once in a while

Wow that looks just like the tractor we have at our family farm. Yours looks, visually, in much better shape than ours but ours has been really put through its paces as a work tractor for decades. I want to say the family got it brand new, been running ever since but I'm not sure about that. Either way its pretty cool, fond memories as a child with that thing. I'll have to get pictures of it next time I'm out there.

Ours may be a Ford 600 or 800, not to sure on exact model.

My plan looks something like this. Gonna have to start by planting some norway spruce for perimeter cover and try some Egyptian wheat until the trees grow. Chinese silvergrass will provide some cover and in the future im going to try a prairie grass mix. I have an old orchard im working to revive as well.
