How many cubes should I feed them. I've only been feeding 2 cubes. Thank you

Two is a good start. If you notice that they are gone very quickly then add another cube.

What you don't want is a bunch of uneaten food on the bottom of the tank.

I'm not sure if I feed enough either, but I feed 2-3 cubes for a group of 7 young adults (~4.5"-6"). And I usually feed 3 times per day (but only fdbw twice).

Thank you. I'll make sure I take notice of how fast it is eaten.

I feel the same way, I'm not sure if I feed enough. I have 10 discus , all at 3". Thank you

If I go next to the tank and they swim up to the surface, I drop another cube haha!

Do you just toss them in the tank or do you break them up? I have 8 discus and I break up 2 cubes 2X per day. It takes around 10 minutes for them to eat it all.

what cones? does the cone sink?

i've just put the FDBW in tank, but they float all over and do into overflow.

The cone has a suction cup and sticks on the side of the glass. For fdbws, you'd put the open end down. http://www.bigalspets.com/search/go?w=feeding+cone.

ah..thanks

i'll get one. they are getting smarter as some of them go to the overflow prefilter and pick them out, but not all of them.

that stick to the glass trick only works about half for me with FDBW

Hi do you use the cubes in the cone or the loose FDBW?

I would get a few cones. I haven't had any aggression issues yet due to just one cone, but i bought a few just in case..They're cheap, so it may be smart just in case of some territorial disputes over the one cone during feeding times
