In a case where diagnosis is unsure.....it would be helpful to know which meds can be used together! In my case, I'm wondering if kanamycin and metro, can be used together!

Hi Kris. I believe they can and I'm doing this now and have done it in the past. Metro is recommended at temps of about 90 or possibly a little higher to be effective and typically at .50 grams per 10 gals. every other day for three treatments.

Kris, if you are dealing with a bacterial infection raising the temp will make that bacterial infection explode.

Understood. But how effective will Metronidazole be at a standard temp. of 82?

I know Metro is commonly mixed with other meds. I.e, Hikari Metro+.

Well, according to Al and Paul (pcsb23) high temps are not required.
