What does everyone use to adjust the ph and restore needed minerals to their r/o water? How often do you test hardness? How much and how often do you dose what ever r/o right your using?

I am new to SD and keeping discus but not new to fish. I hope what I am telling you is correct. I think everyone on here other than me would be better informed but, I use R/O right 1 tsp. for every 5 gallons, Kent pH stable 1/8 tsp. for 20 gal. and proper pH7.0 it has a measuring spoon in it 1 scoop for 10 gal. I use an empty 20 gallon tank to mix my water in. It has 2 air stones and a heater in it to heat my water to tank temp. I try to test my GH/KH every time I do my water change. (every other day but I am looking to change more often) My tank is a 38gal.

I use RO Right and seachem discus buffer and nuetral regulator. Works well.

Just put some tap water or RP waste water back into the mix and you will be fine. In most caes there is no need to spend more money.
