Does anyone do this? With the general heat and humidity, mostly the heat of summer, I'm wondering if this would help maintain the potency of the meds better. Could it possibly have a detrimental effect?

Good question Stu, I can't really answer, but if I occupy one more inch of fridge space, it's gonna be all out war with the Mrs! lol :/

Different medications require different storage conditions. Its usually on the package. Prazi best stored in the freezer for up to 2 years last I looked.

Some medications are stable at room temp. In most cases temperature is not medications enemy...humidity and oxygen are.

yes it could in theory. On the other side of the coin most med's I have read the optimum temp is between 50 and 80 degrees so one must wonder whether keeping below stated temp would also be somewhat detrimental also. One also take into consideration that no matter what you do there is a breakdown taking place from the moment they are made.
