This is for non breeding measurements only for raising you discus lets say around 3".
I would like to know everyone's TDS reading , daily WC's and percentage of daily WC , number of discus in tank and size of discus. I would appreciate everyone's participation. Thank you everyone and hope to get a lot of responses.

I have no clue. My growouts are in RO waste water. They get somewhere between 50% and 99% WC's daily. There will be someehere between 10 and 200 in a tank.

Where are you drawing your tap from and do you have a water softener in your house?

Yes. I age my water for 24 hrs but sure the exact hour the ph changes. I know the tank water ph is always lower the aging barrel

I meant to say when you do age your water, does the ph change? What are you using for dechlor?

Yes my ph changes about .3 or .4 so ph goes up to 8.3 or 8.4. I use seachem safe to dechlor my water. I'm also using an HMA to filter my water

TDS from tap is 100 - 110.

pH is 7.8 in the summer, 8.4 in the winter

Daily water changes of 90% till discus reach 6", then 90% every other day

Currently have 5 6"+ discus in a 120g tall tank.

I've grown out a group of 11 discus in that tank from 4" to 8"+

The last batch of juvies I grew out was four 3.5 inch Altum Floras from Kenny. I grew them out in a 40 breeder. They got 100% daily WCs until they were 5 inches or over and they were moved to a 75. They were raised in my 100% tap water and the TDS ranges between 190 to 230. Their grow out thread http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showthread.php?111169-Kenny-s-Altum-Floras/page3&highlight=Altum+Flora.
