New Pics... Heckle Crosses Added...

I wanted to share a few pics... I know many of you were asking about the heckle crosses from Eric at Carolina Discus... I also nabbed my best shots yet of my gorgeous Cuperia Crosses from Chicago, these fish still amaze me daily with theior amazing ever changing colors...

Thanks a lot Rick... I really love them, they are an awesome unique base color that also changes from this light to dark golden almost and their bars are very pronounced, the big eye bar is a favorite of mine too, they also display a great halo... I'm sure it will take a bit for them to color fully and adjust to the tank but so far so good!

Phil, I believe these last 3 pictures as well as some of the beginning ones are the cup crosses from Chicago right?? These are absolutely beautiful. I saw the cupieru crosses for sale at Chicago and through forrest but I didn't know how they would look, well they are beautiful. Great job.

You are correct my friend! Those are the Cup Crosses from Chicago... They are some of the most unique and interesting fish I have ever encountered to say the least... This is from the first round they received, so I can not speak for the second batch as I think they were a bit larger and different shades but these fish are like living mood rings. It took quite a while for them to color up and settle but now that they have they provide me such great joy and visuals... Their colors are ever changing and so hard to capture... These picture really do them the bare minimum of justice as they seem to see the camera and get all shy and show some bars... I have tried to stalk them or sit there for a while with the phone there to wait for them to color to no avail...

They have these amazing blue faces with this rust brown body and these crazy paint splashed halo's... Let me try to get some of the halo...

I mis-spoke Jacklyn... The last 3 pics you see there are the heckle crosses from Carolina...

The cup crosses are in there as well they are more of the rust red color without the pronounced bars...
