I have an odd issue that is happening during my fishless cycle. My water has turned a bit cloudy and there is stuff growing or attaching to everything in the tank. It is really hard and made everything in my tank feel like sandpaper. If i rub it will come off and almost seems to dissolve back into the water. Has anyone seen anything like that? It almost seems like a calcium deposit or something of that nature. The water here doesn't seem to be that great for discus but you dont know till you try. It's around 8.4PH and 460ish TDS. The good thing is 0 nitrites and nitrates out of the tap.
