Hi guys,
Im going to start adding dry ferterlizer to my tank to try and get more growth and colour from my anubias, but im not sure if it's bad or even good for discus. I was going to add iron, phosphate, potassium and some trace, No co2... yet.
Aswell abit of a beginner question, why do you do water changes other to remove waste and nitrate and to keep the water from going off? Is there other things i should look out for sence i have a planted tank?
Thanks.

anubias are slow growers. I find they grow better in lower light. I had a high level of light and added Seachem fertilizer and they didn't do well at all I now have decreased the light and stopped all fertilizer and they have doubled in size in 6mo.

YMMV
