We need some good thoughts and prayers please

My husband Bill is having more surgery on Tuesday the 15th. He has a badly broken #3 vertebra, won't heal on it's own. His last 3 surgeries in recent years have all had complications, some very serious. He is 78 so this is a bit of a risky back surgery, but being done by a pro at one of NC's best hospitals. Vidant Medical center in Greenville. Thank you for any good thoughts sent our way, they worked the last 2 times.

Positive thoughts and prayers for your entire family and know Bill will be in good care for his surgery this coming Tuesday. Don't forget about yourself during these tough times as Bill will need someone to make breeding cones if his job is to pack them and send them off.

Thank you very much, my Simply Discus friends. Surgery is 9am tomorrow. Hospital is a 2 hr. drive away so we leave home at 6am. I will let you all know how it goes. Thanks again,

Surgery is over and he gets to go home later today. All went just fine and now we wait to see if he can walk and has less pain. Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and pm's. So much appreciated. The surgery was a Kyphoplasty if anyone wants to Google it.

Hi Barb, great news on Bill. My mom has had several Kyphoplasty procedures done with a good outcome. Hope Bill recovers well with no pain and better mobility.
