My first attempt at breeding discus has been successful so far. The fry seem to like Dad's slime coat more than Mom. I suppose that's normal. My education on this has been through SD and trial and error. The next step--I suppose--is feeding the fry BBS or other suitable supplement. Any further advice in this area is greatly appreciated! I have never seen a preference on slime coat between the male/female. What color is the female?

John, female is a neon blue with maroon patterns (Flora)--5.5 in. Dad is sold neon blue--7 in. The fry DO eat off Mom, but are showing more LOVE to Dad. I was theorizing that more surface area on Dad may be a factor.

I bet over time that will change. The male is just producing more slime currently.
