Super Excited

So I've been a discus hobbyist for a couple of years now, but only with adults. My wife started getting interested, and now that she's only working part time we figured it might be fun to see if we have what it takes to raise some babies. We got lucky in that we happened to have two super-nice adults that were willing to lay some eggs. Here are a couple of (bad camera phone) pics. We only have eggs now, but they're brown and being tended to, so that's an exciting first step for us greenies.

Okay, we have wrigglers, but only a dozen because I let the fungus sneak up on the rest of the eggs. I'll have to use methylene blue next time and watch my water temp more closely. We'll see if they eat all the free swimmers in a couple of days.
